Ai-Assisted Strategy | Market Analysis | Campaign Whitepaper

Griffin Gaming Partners (GGP), one of the world’s leading venture funds focused exclusively on gaming, rose with its Web3 investments. But by the end of 2024, Web3 gaming saw sharp declines. To help GGP stay ahead in an increasingly competitive market, my partner and I developed a real-time market analysis project called TRENDFORGE: GAMING as part of PR 599: AI-Assisted Strategic Communication.

TRENDFORGE: GAMING
Powered by AI and machine learning, TRENDFORGE: GAMING is a real-time analysis system designed to track shifts in gaming genre popularity as they happen.
Using a BERT-based classification model trained on video content and user data from platforms like YouTube, the system identifies trending genres, analyzes player sentiment through comments, and surfaces key preferences and emerging patterns.
Working together, TRENDFORGE gives GGP actionable insights to diversify its investments, mitigate risk, and spot the next big thing before the rest of the market does.
STEP 1: Project Proposal
Through a SWOT and situation analysis, paired with our proposed methodology and theoretical framework, we made the case for a real-time, AI-powered system to help gaming VCs track emerging trends and make smarter investment decisions.






STEP 2: System Design
In this step, we designed an AI-powered content analysis tool to extract actionable insights from YouTube gaming videos. Built in Python using Google Colab, LangChain, and OpenAI’s GPT-3.5, the system focuses on analyzing player sentiment and community framing within high-engagement video comments.

Dashboard Prototype
This dashboard is a visual prototype designed to demonstrate the potential functionality of our AI-powered genre trend monitoring system. While the underlying concept and methodology are real—leveraging machine learning to analyze large-scale YouTube gaming content—the current display uses sample data for illustrative purposes.
At this stage, due to limited development resources and hosting infrastructure, the system is not yet connected to a live data pipeline. However, this mockup faithfully represents the type of real-time insights the tool could deliver once fully built and deployed.
